Biography

Kindu A. Walker received his Juris Doctor in 1999 from Hofstra University School of Law, where he also served as the senior editor on the Family and Conciliation Courts Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Long Island University-C.W. Post Campus in 1996. Kindu clerked for the Honorable Susan H. Winfield and John M. Mott of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 1999 and 2000.

Kindu’s litigation practice includes general civil litigation with a concentration in product liability, premises liability, toxic and mass tort litigation and commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Georgia. Kindu has acquired significant litigation and trial experience by successfully defending corporations, government officers, healthcare professionals and individuals in law suits, mediation and pre-litigation matters. Kindu is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and was selected to the 2007 State Bar of Georgia Leadership Academy. He has spoken at various seminars on topics involving premises liability, product liability, intentional torts, as well as other areas of law.

Kindu was honored on the Georgia Rising Stars 2010 and 2009 list in Atlanta Magazine/Law and Politics, voted by his peers as one of Atlanta’s best Civil Litigation young lawyers.  He was also named Georgia Trend’s 2009 Legal Elite: Georgia’s Most Effective Lawyers.
