Austin J. Hemmer and Daniel P. Hendrix join The Finley Firm, P.C. as new associates.
Austin is a native of Jamestown, North Dakota. He graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and History, and he obtained his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. Austin’s practice will focus on business coverage, catastrophic injury, class action & mass torts, premises liability, product liability, subrogation and workers’ compensation.
Daniel is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in History, Latin and Classical Cultures, and he obtained his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University Law School. Daniel’s practice will focus on business coverage, class action & mass torts, premises liability, product liability, subrogation and workers’ compensation.

Third Annual Service Day 2011
The Finley Firm spent the afternoon on August 17, 2011 at the Atlanta Community Food Bank for the 3rd Annual Service Day. The employees were trained to sort, package, weigh and move boxes of food, condiments and other non-perishable items. The group helped package 7,913 pounds, which is equivalent to 5,275 meals for the needy. The Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) was established in 1979. ACFB distributes donated food and other non-perishable items to food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. Beth Howard - SBWC Conference
Beth Howard will be participating in The Workers’ Compensation Hearing of the Century at the State Board of Workers’ Compensation Conference on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 2:40 - 3:30 p.m. The course will be a reenactment of a workers’ compensation trial focusing on surveillance, expert medical testimony, and lay person testimony. The State Board of Workers’ Compensation Annual Conference is on August 29, 2010-September 1, 2010 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, GA. Howard, Newest Associate at The Finley Firm, P.C.
Beth Howard, a former Hatton, Alabama resident and daughter of John and Jean Howard, is the newest associate at The Finley Firm, P.C.
Beth graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and she obtained her Juris Doctor from Georgia State College of Law. While at Georgia State, she competed on the Student Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial Team and advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals in both the American Bar Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America competitions.
She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Alabama State Bar. Beth was selected as a “Rising Star” among the Georgia Super Lawyers of 2010.

2010 Super Lawyers
Every year Atlanta Magazine publishes a special section, “Super Lawyers”, to recognize the top attorneys in the state of Georgia. The Super Lawyer/Rising Star (Rising Stars are attorneys that are 40 years or younger and have been practicing for 10 years or less.) selection process is multi-step process-nominated by their peers, evaluated by peers and a third party research. Each nominee is evaluated on twelve indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.

Georgia Trend's 2009 Legal Elite-4 Attorneys Selected

This month, The Finley Firm launched the second phase of the Green Initiative Campaign.
